With regard to trafficking, and particularly where the person has been subjected to violence as a control measure or as part of the exploitation, including sexual violence, the person may have difficulty in recalling some events or the chronological order of the events. He/she may also be unwilling to share details about the instances of such violence due to feelings of shame and guilt or may be unwilling to reveal details about the traffickers for fear of reprisals. Such factors should be taken into account when assessing credibility and should not affect adversely the relevant findings.
