Subject to national practice, prenatal care and maternity services should be within reasonable reach of the accommodation offered. Also, if in late stages of pregnancy and/or already under established care with maternity services, the applicant should, as far as possible, be able to continue to reside in that area and to receive her current maternity services and other support services she is relying on. However, if not possible it is not unreasonable that she is moved providing it is safe and practical to do so and appropriate action to ensure continuity of care is taken.
